Client wanted to replace ceramic hydrocyclones that were prone to vibration damage and brittle fracture during handling, while equaling or exceeding ceramic’s wear-life.
Replace the ceramic with Delthane950H, a high strength polyuerethane formulation suited to the structural requirement of an unsupported hydrocyclone, at elevated temperature, and resistant to chlorine.
Delthane950H polyurethane reduced hydrocyclone consumption at the two positions by 34% annually.
